The Cannabis Paradox with Tadhg Stopford

The Cannabis Paradox with Tadhg Stopford

Event Overview:

This June, we’re joined by Tadhg Stopford of Tiger Drops, a teacher and advocate with deep roots in the fight for cannabis reform. Inspired by Helen Kelly and personal family experience, Tadhg created New Zealand’s first medical cannabis course for health professionals, approved by the RNZCGP. In this talk, he’ll explore the therapeutic potential of CBD, the science behind it, and the political roadblocks that have kept it out of reach for many New Zealanders.

What to Expect:

  • What CBD is and how it supports health

  • The truth behind cannabis classification in New Zealand

  • How access to plant-based healing has been restricted

  • Tools to navigate the current system and take charge of your health

  • Tea, coffee, and open kōrero after the talk
